GoMining: A Step-by-Step Guide to Passive Income with Miner Wars
GoMining is a Bitcoin Mining platform using NFTs. In addition to the solo mining mode, there is a very interesting Play-to-Earn competitive mode. Check out a relevant guide below on How to Make Passive Income with Miner Wars.

What is GoMining?
GoMining is a Bitcoin Mining platform that transforms physical mining power (hashrate) into digital miners. In practice, you purchase or own a digital miner that represents a share of the computing power from GoMining's data centers. This miner can generate BTC daily, based on factors such as its TH, energy efficiency, and network conditions.
So, there is a core activity: Your miner → real hashrate → Bitcoin mining → BTC reward.
GoMining also offers products beyond mining, such as a wallet, the GOMINING token, a card, Simple Earn, and the Miner Wars game itself.
And where does Miner Wars come in?
Miner Wars is a competitive mode/game within the GoMining ecosystem. It uses your miners as the basis for determining your in-game power. GoMining's own documentation confirms that miners can be used both to earn BTC in Mining Mode and to participate in Miner Wars.
Your miner does not "earn BTC from Miner Wars" in the same way it does in Mining Mode. There are two different modes.
Mining Mode
You keep your miner outside of a clan. You receive: BTC → daily. The amount depends primarily on your mining power, efficiency, network difficulty, and maintenance costs.
Miner Wars
When you join a clan, your miner switches to Miner Wars mode. Rewards are based on weekly competitions: Clan wins battles → BTC prize; and you compete individually → GOMINING. GoMining explains that Miner Wars rewards are paid out at the close of the weekly cycle.
Passive Income Strategy with Miner Wars:
Currently, there are four league tiers: Odyssey, Eclipse, Horizon, and Dune. Odyssey is the highest league, comprising up to 50 clans. When you enter Miner Wars, you aren't simply adding a bonus to your standard daily BTC earnings; you are switching your miner's mode. Rewards shift to a weekly schedule based on battle performance, whereas in Mining Mode, you receive BTC daily.
Mining Mode features a spell system; if you are active and own a high-efficiency machine, you can significantly boost your earnings compared to solo mining. Check out this guide to earning passive income every Tuesday in your GoMining account:
- Rent an energy-efficient machine on the site's "Marketplace" page (look for an ROI of over 70% and an energy efficiency rating below 20). Ideally, the machine should have over 100 TH to qualify for clans in higher leagues like Odyssey and Eclipse, but buy a machine that fits your budget—our strategy requires at least 30 TH with a W/TH ratio below 20. (Don't rush to rent; good opportunities don't always appear immediately, so you may need to scout the listings every week until you find the right one);
- Go to the "Miner Wars" page, check the platform tutorial, and join a clan. Navigate to "Odyssey"—the league with the highest multipliers and rewards—and find a top-10 clan that will accept you. The "minebitcoin.club" clan is a likely option; it is open to new members and unlikely to kick you out, provided you have a reasonably decent machine as described above;
- In this league, if your machines represent low total TH (e.g., under 200 or 300), you are unlikely to earn GoMining tokens as a reward. These rewards go to the round winners (only one clan wins per match), and the computing power in this league is immense; a low TH won't stand a chance of competing—unless you use a lot of spells, which isn't recommended for this strategy;
- You can use the "maintenance" spell (which is free) once a day to help your clan improve its match ranking slightly. Otherwise, simply stay put in the clan; as they win matches, you will receive a BTC reward for contributing your computing power to the clan's total;
Now, if you own one or more machines worth thousands of dollars with thousands of TH, you can use spells... ...at strategic moments to compete for individual rankings and receive GoMining tokens in addition to BTC—potentially significantly boosting your earnings.
You can also form your own clan (provided you are at least Gold 1) to collect all the BTC earned in matches; even a lower-tier clan can be quite worthwhile if it is active. Subscribing to Platinum+ for $29.99 per month can also be essential for drastically reducing maintenance costs and securing a 15% discount on the spells you use.
